Peel House an impressive Georgian Town House was originally built
for a wealthy Lawyer in the 1850's. In 1911 it was bought by the council
for use as a police station and billet. It remained in use as a police
station until 1998 but much of the property was sadly neglected in
the latter years.
Throughout 1999 under the supervision of its new owners the property
underwent a major restoration program for which it won a prestigious
conservation award.
Restored to its former elegance Peel House offers its guests spacious
comfortable accommodation conveniently situated in the centre of the
attractive town of Eccleshall. A good variety of shops, restaurants
and Inns are only a short stroll away.

A legacy of the past is the old court house at the rear of the property
which has now been converted into self catering cottages. Each centrally
heated property is furnished and equipped to a high standard.
